Executive producer of content FS1 Charlie Dixonwhich has been accused of sexual battery in two prosecution by former employees and sexual assault in one of the prosecution, is no longer with Renard Sports.
A Dixon lawyer said in a statement sent by email to Times on Monday evening that his client had been informed by Fox Sports “that he was abandoned for violation of business policy” in a case that had nothing to do with the proceedings brought in January.
“According to the network, Mr. Dixon did not disclose human resources or the legal service according to which a third -party production company had hired his wife as a temporary freelancer,” wrote lawyer John Ly, who represents Dixon in the distinct civil proceedings posted this year by the former anchor and journalist Julie Stewart and Hairsylist Lousin Faraji.
“But the reality is that Mr. Dixon had questioned his supervisor about hiring and he was told that there was no objection.”
Ly added: “It should be noted that a spokesperson for Fox has made no reference to the company's investigation into sexual harassment complaints by announcing the departure of Mr. Dixon. Mr. Dixon fully cooperated with the investigation and denies getting involved in inappropriate conduct.”
Ly did not immediately answer other questions of time.
Fox Sports, reached by email on Tuesday morning, would only confirm that Dixon has not been used for a long time by the company.
“Charlie Dixon is no longer with Fox Sports,” said the network. “There is no more comment at the moment.”
In his trial, deposited at the Superior Court of the County of Los Angeles on January 31, Stewart-Binks accused Dixon of having held him against a wall, “forcefully” by pressing his body against his and trying to “force his tongue in his mouth” following a meeting linked to work in 2016.
Shortly after the incident, the trial indicates that the Stewart-Binks contract with Fox was not renewed. The trial alleys sexual assault and sexual drums as causes of action against all the accused, notably Dixon, Fox Sports and his parent company, Fox Corp.
Questioned in January on the trial and his allegations, Fox Sports sent an email to a statement: “These allegations come from over eight years ago. At the time, we quickly hired a third -party business to investigate and addressed the question according to their conclusions. ”
Dixon was also one of the accused of the prosecution of Faraji, who was deposited at the County Superior Court in early January. In this document, he is accused of “rubbing his body and grasping his buttocks” without the permission of Faraji during a birthday party for another Fox Sports employee. The trial alleges a sexual battery and a hostile work environment as causes of action against Dixon.
