Las Vegas (CLASS)) – A former CCSD social study professor, professor at the Nevada State College, and a guest professor at the UNLV was arrested on Tuesday in Texas for accusations related to juvenile pornography, the 8 news that the investigators learned.
Zaid Mashour Haddad, whose professional CV includes a semester as a guest speaker in teacher training at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 2013 and a semester as a member of the auxiliary faculty at Nevada State College in 2011, teaches at the University of Texas in San Antonio, according to a biography page of the College website.
The United States Prosecutor's Office for the western District of Texas, in a press release, said Haddad broadcast sexual children's abuse, familiarly known as juvenile pornography, on a television mounted on the wall of the room of his apartment. While the FBI has executed a search warrant on Haddad's apartment, the press release indicates that a CSAM video was displayed on this TV. The American lawyer's office said that FBI agents examined the link Haddad used to broadcast the video, which he received via the Comedantry Application based on the Telegram Cloud – known for its encryption features – and that it contained 181 different videos. Haddad also used links that led to virtual zoom meetings where CSAM would be broadcast live using a separate file sharing application, the press release said.
The CBS affiliate in San Antonio asked the USTA information this week, and a university spokesman told the station, Ken 5that a member of the faculty was arrested “in a criminal investigation unrelated to the UTSA”.
The organic USTA and the professional CV of Haddad also refer to five years, from 2004 to 2009, as a teacher of social studies at the Canyon Springs high school in the County County School District. He says he teaches courses at first cycle, master and doctorate.
Haddad is accused of a chief of possession of juvenile pornography and a chief of access knowingly with the intention of seeing any material which contained an image of juvenile pornography, according to the press release, if it is condemned, Haddad risks up to 20 years in prison, said a supervised version for life, a fine of up to $ 250,000, said the press release.
The requests for comments from the County County School District, UNLV and Nevada State College were not returned immediately.
