Brussels intends to offer prices on Boeing aircraft while preparing new reprisals in the event of a trade failure with Washington Fail.
The European Commission, which manages the EU trade policy, will include civil aircraft on a list of around 100 billion euros in target annual American imports, depending on two people familiar with the problem.
But the measures would only take effect if the EU does not progress enough to reduce American prices, they said. The measures must first be approved by a weighted majority of the Member States.
President Donald Trump on April 2, imposed a Minimum additional price 20% on almost all EU exports as part of its so-called “reciprocal” measures. But he reduced this to 10% on April 9 for 90 days to give time for talks.

EU has interrupted Reprisal rates on 21 billion euros in American goods, including Harley-Davidson motorcycles, poultry and clothes until July 14 to facilitate the negotiation process.
The next wave of prices, which would include planes and possibly chemicals, would likely apply from that moment, unless an agreement has been concluded, officials said.
The list of proposed objectives, which will be sent to the member states today or tomorrow, could still change, they warned.
