Don King says his health is much better than Mike Tysonsuggests… claiming he is feeling fine and healthy after his 10-day hospital stay – although MT is essentially saying he is at death’s door.
The legendary boxing promoter released a statement via his representatives on Saturday… telling fans he is recovering and feeling great – and that he has lots of love for Mike Tyson.
It’s a short and to the point statement…but clearly DK wants everyone to know that his health issues are not as serious as previously reported.
In case you missed it… Tyson was featured on the “It Is What It Is” podcast with Cam’ron And Masé — where they asked him about his current relationship with the controversial fight promoter.
Iron Mike makes it clear that Don isn’t doing too well…citing his age and health issues as the main reasons.
As we told you… we contacted sources close to Don King who confirmed Tyson’s comments – admitting he was not in the best shape health-wise after needing a blood transfusion in hospital.
So, King could just be pretending… pretending he’s feeling fine when his health is actually bothering him – either way, Tyson’s comments blew up so much that Don finally felt the need to respond.

The king is famous for organizing the fights “The Rumble in the Jungle” and “Thrilla in Manila” between Mohammed Ali And George Foreman — but also for the $100 million lawsuit Tyson filed against him after Tyson said he stole millions from him. The two men settled the lawsuit for $14 million.
Ultimately, Don says he’ll be around for much longer to continue watching the sport he loves – but others aren’t so sure.
