Dodgers have priority to earn money to give fans an affordable experience

To the publisher: Thank you for the excellent article on Dodger tickets at high prices by the editor Bill Shaikin (“The blues championship: Dodgers games were affordable family entertainment. More,” April 18). It is a shame that many families cannot afford to attend a match without going into debt.

I was a fan of dodger all my life and I will continue to be a fan, but I go to less games due to high prices for tickets and parking. I realize that prices are based on supply and demand, and as long as dodgers can sell most nights, prices will not drop.

I also find it rich that President Trump criticizes high prices. He is right to call them, but tanking on the stock market and the addition of rates make them more difficult to attend a match.

To the publisher: The question of whether fans are responsible for seeing Dodger Games has already been answered. Earning money is the company of the Dodgers, and their surw which led them to give up trying to give customers great experiences.

To the publisher: I would like to go to a match at the Dodger Stadium, but the prices are too high. I can get a seat at Angel Stadium for $ 16. And I don't have to sit in the stands.

To the editor: The contrast between Trump and (the president of the Dodgers Stan), Kasten's vision of affordable dodgers tickets is a brilliant example of the place where blue states and cities are completely mistaken. The Dodgers Foundation tells us that the Dodgers have distributed 64,000 tickets for “deserving communities”. It would probably be low -income communities. But, as Elly Schoen noted from USC Lusk Center, a median income family could find a single Dodger game per unbearable month.

In other words, the greatest future potential basis of fans – families in the working class – is essentially at a price out of the market to attend games regularly – exactly what Trump focused on which Kasten's organization is without any idea.
