The Covenant Medical Center is on diversion due to a main water break in a nearby Lubbock water line, the hospital confirmed in a statement on Friday evening.
The city works to restore services.
“We continue to take care of our patients who have been admitted,” reads a Covenant declaration. “Imaging and ambulance services will remain in diversion until the operations are back to normal.”
Covenant Health emergency centers on Quaker and Milwaukee avenues are open to provide emergency services throughout this breakdown.
