The subtle quarter of Vietnam
XI's visit offered Vietnam an opportunity to guarantee Chinese support for its ambitious development program. The most important among Hanoi's priorities, increases growth led by investments over the next decade, requiring better cooperation in infrastructure with China.

The priority of the committee is the construction of cross -border railways connecting China to the key cities in northern Vietnam, with Chinese technical assistance and concessional loans. This time, Hanoi has greatly emphasized technology transfer and capacity building of China, aimed at improving the participation of national companies in its next flagship project: the high-speed north-south high-speed rail.
Another key priority for Hanoi is to increase the integration of Vietnamese companies into high -value supply chains in the sectors where China already controls technological and industrial leadership, such as high -speed railways, artificial intelligence and green technologies.
Like China, Vietnam nourishes its national economic champions, notably Viettel and FPT in the technological sectors, Vinfast in electric vehicles and Hoa Phat in steel. Vietnamese leaders intend to direct these companies beyond simple technological adopters to become technological innovators capable of capturing greater value actions, especially on the rapid expansion market of Vietnam.
