Coachella 2025 is almost on us – it means that it is time to dig into our artist reading list that we look forward to seeing the Polo Club Empire. And while Lady Gaga,, Green day And Post Malone are certainly part of this musical menagerie, let's not forget that it is the groups that force us to brave the sun of the afternoon desert that really make this double weekend at Indio Special (we look at you, Weezer and Ed Sheeran). The cropping of artists of this year brings us a mixture of vintage soul, EDM pulsatoire, Australian punk fanfaron, Irish hip-hop and everything else. Among the many artists of the bill on weekends 1 and 2, here are 14 names that we are delighted to see.
Jimmy Eat World will perform at 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio.

Jimmy Eat World
Saturday April 12 and 19 in Coachella Stage, 4 p.m.
Rejecting Jimmy Eat World as an EMO group is an error. Mailing the group's set this weekend is more important. Group performance at Outdoor theater in 2011 Under the flamboyant sun is seized in my mind as a basic coachella memory. Jimmy Eat World has always extinguished the impeccable power power for more than 30 years, with “Clarity” and “Bleed American” among the best alt-rock records published in this period of time. And don't we all need a great healing moment with “The Middle” with satisfaction insurance that everything will be fine, okay? (Vanessa Franko)

Arca
Sunday April 13 and 20 in Gobi, 8:35 p.m.
Made for the raves of the late evening warehouse, Arca combines avant-garde electronics, reggaeton beats and advanced melodies in experimental dance hymns. The Venezuelan Enigma first began to produce discs like “Yeezus” by Kanye West and “Vulnicura” by Björk in the early 2010s. Now, the 35 -year -old musician, also known for her visuals weighing, made her desert debut – with 11 albums to her credit. Although she has not published a complete disc since 2021, her performance is sure to report the next step for the multimedia artist. (Cerys Davies)

Fcuker
Sunday April 13 and 20 in Mojave Tent, 3 p.m.; Also with Haii on Saturday at 6 p.m., Quasar
The name of the Young New York Duo group reads like a Facebook comment on shit, but the music strikes with the key license of the Bosse de la Sleaze and La Raillerie and the Opank Post-Punk. They are also masters on the DJ circuit after the hours, so even a tripping cut like “pot” (which looks like batteries that run on a discman playing a CIARA CD) will strike, hard. (August Brown)

The German technology walking group will perform at the Coachella Valley 2025 music festival and arts in Indio.
(Toilet stolen)

Pack
Sunday April 13 and 20 at the outdoor Theater, 3:40 p.m.
Pack is a technology technology fanfare. That's it. It's my pitch. But if that is not enough to prick your interest, the music should be. At Coachella, who was not only a manufacturer of tastes for electronic music, but also an event that honors the history and extent of EDM sub-genres, Meute offers a touch to those who preceded as well as their own originals. This means that you may hear the group reorganize success by artists such as DisclosureDeadmau5, Laurent Garnier or even the resolutely more alt-rock Awakenation (Yes, they covered the “sail”), in a representative set of the ethics of the festival itself. (Vanessa Franko)

The English duo Soft Play is one of the artists playing the Festival of Music and the Arts of Coachella Valley 2025.
(Tommy Davis)
Mild game
Sunday April 13 and 20 at the Sonora tent, 5:20 p.m.
From time to time, I see a rock duo play live in Coachella, and it scares me in the best way (especially Japandroids in 2013 and Royal Blood in 2015). My instinct tells me to expect that with a sweet game. The punk duo out of England will likely attract fans of previous coachella artists like Turnstile And slowed down, and I expect there to be a good action of Mosh-Pit for heavier songs such as “Act violently” and “Punk's Dead”, but do not miss the most soft “everything and nothing” with a beautiful action of mandolin. (Vanessa Franko)

The cast of “Yo Gabba Gabbaland!” Will appear at the Festival of Music and Coachella Valley 2025 arts in Indio.
(Give it Jacobs)
I'm gabba gabba!
Saturday April 12 and 19 in Mojave Tent, 4:45 p.m.
The last time the Yo Gabba Gabba! Crew had a complete set in Coachella, in 2010, Muno, Brobee, Foofa, Toode and Plex took over the Sahara tent for a family dance evening. (However, seeing them overcome on the ground with Danny Devito then on stage with the group of soul of psychedelic garage King Khan and the sanctuaries, definitively released vibrations of fever dreams.) The spectacle, which was created in part by Christian Jacobs of Aquabatswas restarted last year Apple TV + like “Yo Gabba Gabband!” And with the amount of stars he attracts, we expect surprises on stage. (Vanessa Franko)
Moglai Bap, Mo Chara and DJ Provai from Knecap.
(Annie Noelker / For Time)
Ball joint
Friday April 11 and 18 at the Sonora tent, 6:10 p.m.
God, to be an Irish rap group and obtain the pleasure of Bewitching a British king. Must be exhilarating. After a record year when its eponymous hirsut and hilarious film was acclaimed in the world, and the group has become one of the most impetuous and intrepid voices for Gaza, it should be the group's largest American platform to date as musicians. Given the fire hose for crazy news out of Washington, DC, we can only imagine the words of choice they also reserve us. (August Brown)

Benson Boone
Friday April 11 and 18 at Coachella Stage, 7:10 p.m.
His song “Beautiful Things” was one of the largest of 2024 – and his performance at the Grammy Awards in February undoubtedly the most creepy. Now, Boone – who appeared briefly on “American Idol” in 2021 before getting out of the competition to do his own thing – sets up his next second album on the festival circuit and with a new single, “Sorry I'm here for someone else”, who adds a crossroads from Retro'80s to electro -pop to his rocky ballad. (Mikael Wood)

Singer Amy Taylor, drummer Bryce Wilson, bassist Gus Romer and guitarist Declan Mehrtens d'Amyl and the sniffers pose for a portrait in the old Zoo by Griffith Park, in Los Angeles.
(Steve Appleford)
Amyl & The Sniffers
Sunday April 13 and 20 in Gobi Tent, 9:55 p.m.
Quick, open the clip (delusional NSFW) for “Jerkin” by these shady Australian punks. Make sure you first. Turn it on the speakers and sing the opening hook of Amy Taylor from “You are a C- / You are an A—”. Now go and enjoy the sweet release of unemployment. Use time to start a group half as good as Amyl & The Sniffers.

Ravyn Lenae
(Atlantic Records)
Ravyn Lenae
Friday April 11 and 18 at the Mojave tent, 2:35 p.m.
Lenae, born in Chicago, made daring alternative R & B R&B in a path erased by SZA and Solange. LP “Bird's Eye” of last year, which she recorded with producer Dahi, charmed criticism, tastes manufacturers and other artists, including Rex Orange County, who joined her for a remix of “Love Me Not”, and Sabrina Carpenter, who typed Lenae to be an opening act on her short tour no later this year. (Mikael Wood)

AG cook
Friday April 11 and 18 in Gobi Tent, 7 p.m.
From hyperpop quirks to its PC Music label to production credits on “BRAT” by Charli XCX and “Renaissance” by Beyonce, AG Cook is a long -standing experimental pop supplier. In the same cohort as the late Sophie and XCX, the 34 -year -old producer / DJ / musician will bring his daring synths and his raw voices from his third solo album, “Britpop” with the Gobi tent. Its set is sure to have the crowd on their feet – just like XCX prophesies on “360” – singing, “You Gon” jump if AG did it “. (Cerys Davies)
Jessie Murph
Sunday April 13 and 20 at the Mojave tent, 5:25 p.m.
This 20-year-old country has come to the attention of many when You have wetzel The recruited it for a duet on his successful “High Road” ballad, which spent last year five weeks at N ° 1 on Country radio. For those who are not yet accessible, Murph offers an A + introduction at the top of its new single “Gucci Mane” (if entitled for the sample of the song of “Lemonade” of the influential South Rapper): “I am from Alabama, I'm 'Bout 4'11” / I Got as – father and I would like to go to Heaven. “” (Mikael Wood)

Alex Garcia, Sal Samano and Josh Lane, on the left, of Thee Sacred Souls are photographed in the Diamond West studios in Pasadena.

You sacred souls
Friday April 11 and 18 in Coachella Stage, 4:20 p.m.
In 2022, this Trio of San Diego brought back a revivalist mixture of Chicano Soul, Doo-Wop and Funk at the forefront of music. “Can I call you Rose?” Since their first eponymous album, captured the heart of many, especially those of Tiktok. Similar to the rest of their discography, the group has the talent to create an authentic vintage feeling – often bringing listeners to the popularity of Soul in the 1960s. Composed of the bassist Sal Samano, drummer Alex Garcia and singer Josh Lane, their performance is required to fill the indio air with a retro love sense. (Cerys Davies)

Amaarae
Sunday April 13 and 20 in Gobi Tent, 5 p.m.
AfroBeats is now a default club music mode in the United States when you are ready to deepen and stranger, Amaarae's point of view on the flash point of R&B and alte is incredibly elegant, true for its inventiveness and pure sex in childbirth. “Fountain Baby” of 2023 remains amazing, but expect that much more to come this year.
