Beijing: Chinese embassies in India and Pakistan Friday May 9 advised citizens to intensify security precautions and to be prudent to go to the countries of South Asia, In the midst of the worst fights in the region in almost three decades.
Nuclear weapons neighbors have faced each other since India struck several locations in Pakistan on Wednesday that they said that these are “terrorist camps”, in retaliation for a deadly attack on Hindu Tourists from the Indian cashmere last month.
Chinese citizens in India and Pakistan should close the situation closely and improve security measures, distinct statements of embassies said.
The Embassy of Beijing in Nepal also advised citizens to avoid areas along the border of Nepal-India in a statement published on its account on social networks on Friday.
Nepal and India have an open border, and Chinese citizens should avoid entering by mistake without a valid visa, said the embassy, adding that India and Nepal have intensified security efforts along their border in the midst of increased tensions.
