The unbeaten fighter of Belfast Caoimhin Agyarko intervened in a short notice to ensure a majority decision victory against Ryan Kelly in England in Sheffield.
Less than two weeks after taking the fight after the withdrawal of Ishmael Davis, Agyarko prevailed to improve his professional file at 17-0.
Although he was cut over his left eye in the fifth round, Agyrko fought a hard victory, the judges marking the medium-light weight competition at 10 rounds 95-95, 97-94 and 96-94 in favor of 28 years.
The fight took place on the Dalton Smith's dominant victory on Mathieu Germain.
Agyarko, who made his professional debut in 2018, fought once in 2024, beating Bahadur Karami in Belfast.
But after being returned to the ring with the victory over Harley Collison in March, Kelly represents another step in the right direction in the offer of Agyarko to win a shooting of the world title.
