The Galaxy Big Wheel formed 2 billion years after the Big Bang

A newly discovered spiral galaxy, nicknamed the big wheel, only formed 2 billion years after the Big Bang – much earlier, given its size, that astronomers did not think it possible.
Themiya nanayakkaraAt the University of Technology in Swinburne in Melbourne, Australia, said that discovery was an accident. He and his colleagues were looking for quasars, energetic regions in the heart of certain galaxies, with the James Webb space telescope in November 2022 when a “large spiral galaxy appeared”.
