The coach of the renowned temple Bob Baffert returns to Kentucky Derby looking for a seventh victory on Saturday, but journalism formed by Michael McCarthy is California Colt favored to capture the first gem of the Triple Crown of Flat Racing in the United States.
Buffe, the 72 -year -old polarizing man whose winners of the Kentucky Derby include American Pharoah and Justify – two horses that have continued to finish the triple crown – is back for the 151st race for the roses for the first time since 2021 – when his mind of Medina crossed the line, but was disqualified after having failed in a drug test.

Baffert was initially prohibited by Churchill Downs for two years, but in 2023, the emblematic track of Louisville extended his punishment, accusing him of continuing “to peddle a false story” concerning the drug testing test of Medina Spirit – who died later in 2021.
Restored in July, Baffert says that he is delighted to be back to the event which, according to him, is the key to the race in the United States.
“It is our masters,” said slack, who salted 17 winners through Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes. “It is the race that defines your career.”
He is back with two long long in Citizen Bull and Rodriguez.

Citizen Bull, the highest 2 years of last year, saw his stock slide with a disappointing fourth place in the Santa Anita derby, then drew the first unfavorable position of the draw on Saturday.
“Well, we released the only one (door),” joked hard.
“I am happy not to have obtained the two with the other horse,” he added after Rodriguez pulled the fourth post.
Journalism arrives on a sequence of victories of four races which includes three victories with classified issues – more recently, the Santa Anita Derby, grade 1, where it overcome a disturbed trip to beat Baeza by three quarters in length.
The colt will break the eighth post under jockey Umberto Rispoli and was installed as the first favorite 3-1.

“What cannot love,” said McCarthy after the draw, although this week he said that the envy eighth was not his only reason for confidence.
“He would not have been of any importance where he was attracted,” said McCarthy.
Two horses should challenge journalism, the sovereignty formed by Bill Mott and the winner of the Arkansas derby, Sandman, attracted positions in the 20 horsepower field.
Sovereignty will start from the 18th post and would have been at a price of 5-1 while the Sandman formed in Mark Casse was at 6-1 after shooting the 17th post.
After last year's disappointment for Forever Young – third in a dramatic photo in three lanes behind Mystik Dan and Sierra Leone – two Japanese looters will try to give the country a first victory for Kentucky Derby.

Admire Daytona, formed by Yukihiro Kato, arrives from a triumph of the water derby on April 5, while the Luxor Cafe, a son of American Kentucky formed in Japan by Noriyuki Hori, won the challenges of Fukuryu by five lengths to win his Gourmure de Kentucky Derby via the Japan Road series.
