“He is very shy to start, but I think he has become fully aware that he is a superstar now.
“When the wagon descends on the road to a competition and it is not, it strikes the stable door. Thomas is what you would call a professional, an appropriate competition horse.”
The “original” horse first drew attention by winning Burghley's horses trials during its beginnings in 2017. It has since succeeded in succeeding in Kentucky, Burghley and Maryland last fall.
Townend, 42, won nine five -star level events, including Badminton in 2009 on Flint Curtis.
“For me, trying to show the world how good it is, it is my main job but, so far, everything is fine. When it ends, everyone will realize how much we have seen a special horse,” he added.
Townend also rises Cooley Rosalent from the Ballaghmor class class, in order to win its second badminton title and the 10th five -star victory.
The Olympic champions of Paris Laura Collett, Ros Canter and Tom McEwen are among the challengers, alongside the reigning world champion Yasmin Ingham.
