Asteroids 2024 YR4 could still hit the moon, reveal JWST observations

During a brief period earlier this year, global space agencies warned that the large asteroid of 2024 years had an uncomfortable 3.1% risk of hitting the earth in 2032. Fortunately, more detailed observations have now dropped these dimensions to zero, but a new analysis using the James Webb space telescope (JWST) shows that there is still a chance that it has an impact on our moon – something that astronomers are delighted to see.
