Minneapolis: Children's theater company (CTC) announced that Ryan French will be its new managing director, successful Jill A. Anderson. The French joined CTC in 2022 as chief of the farm. He will supervise all the administrative functions of the theater, including development, marketing and communications, audience services, education, finance, human resources, community partnerships, installations and legal affairs.
“We are delighted to have the leadership of Ryan at the moment. It provides a diversified skills and experience, as well as necessary strategic information, while CTC continues to progress as the first children's theater in the country, “said Mary Loeffelholz, chairman of the board of directors of the children's theater company, in a statement.
As the current deputy deputy director of the organization, French has been “an incredible resource and support for me during the last year and a half that I have known,” said CTC artistic director Rick Dildine, in a statement.
Before CTC, FRENCH was vice-president associated with advances and campaign director at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He led marketing and communications to Walker Art Centerand held management positions at St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and other non -profit organizations. The Frenchman has an MBA by emphasizing marketing and non -profit management of the University of Minnesota and a BA in music from St. Olaf College. For more than 20 years, he sang professionally with sets in Milwaukee and in twin cities. The Frenchman lives in St. Paul with his wife and two children.
“I spent the majority of my professional career working and playing in the rich cultural landscape of Minneapolis-St. Paul,” French said in a statement. “I know the power that the arts can have and the value it brings to our entire community. Co-leader the theater with a partner like Rick and with the many staff members, actors and craftsmen of CTC, many members of talented staff, will be an honor. ”
Children's theater company (CTC) is the largest theater in the country for young people and serves a multigenerational audience. He creates theatrical experiences that educate, challenge and inspire more than 200,000 people a year. CTC undertakes to create world class productions at the highest level and to develop new works, more than 200 to date, considerably changing the cannon of work for young audiences.
