Frederick, md.: Maryland overall theater (Met) announced the appointment of Melynda Burdette Wintrol as general manager, with immediate effect. Before the appointment of this role, Met had a leadership model director of co -management, with Wintrol being director of production and co -management operations. After examining the staff, the ensemble and the board of directors, the Board of Directors of Met voted to appoint Wintrol as the only managing director.

As a production director has since 2019, Wintrol has supervised 55 productions, demonstrating exceptional leadership, organizational skills and a deep commitment to MET's mission. In 2022, she supervised the renovation of the capital of the main scene from Robin Drummond to Met. In its new role, Wintrol will supervise all aspects of MET administration, including financial management, strategic planning, fundraising, marketing and community engagement.

Before his work in Met, Wintrol was director of education Adventure Theater MTCThe oldest theater in the DC region for young audiences. She recently returned to ATMTC to serve as an active executive director for a transition period.
