Alabama father Jacob sofa died almost two weeks after being attacked by a maniac brandishing ax which almost cut off in broad daylight … to a bus stop!
The 32 -year -old man died Thursday evening after having supported life at the University Medical Center Tucson following the horrible attack in Tucson, Arizona, confirmed the police. His sister-in-law Erica Sims told Kgun 9 News that he developed pneumonia and his heart gave.
His wife, Kristen Couchremembered him Friday by Sharing several return photos of them together and noting heartbreaking that she thought they would have “so much more” for years together.
The cops say Daniel Michael Volente – And at random – attacked Jacob on the morning of April 5 when he was sitting on a Tucson bus stop with his wife to return home in Araba, in Alabama.
Kristen and Jacob returned home after spending 10 months in Los Angeles, crying for the stillborn birth in 2024 of their son when the attack occurred. The couple already had two daughters of previous relationships.
Kristen told Kgun 9 News She and Jacob – who were together for 11 years – moved to Los Angeles to help cry their loss, noting … “But that is not the case. And that's why we came home.”
Daniel was placed in police custody and was initially accused of serious assaults with a dangerous instrument and serious physical injuries. Police changed their accusations for first degree murder.
Daniel is currently detained at the Pima County adult detention center on a bond of $ 2 million on Saturday morning.
Jacob was 32 years old.
