Slashers must be born in 2014 or earlier to be eligible for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games under a minimum of the new age set by the World Skate Federation.
From this year, a minimum of age is being progressed for events in the world of the skateboard tour. World Skate, the international director of sport, confirmed that the age rules will also apply to Los Angeles Games.

Slashers must be born in 2014 or earlier to participate in tour events in 2025. The minimum age will be lifted a year each in 2026, 2027 and 2028 – which means that the minimum of the year of birth of 2014 will remain the same thanks to the Los Angeles Games.

The world's decision was made after “complete consultations carried out as part of the debriefing process” after the Paris Games.
“According to learning, learning to learn that the accelerated standard and the corresponding challenges in the Olympic skateboard required the introduction of a minimum age limit,” according to World Skate.
The skateboard made its Olympic debut at Tokyo Games. It was one of the many minimum ageless sports at the Tokyo and Paris Games.

In Tokyo and Paris, the youngest medalists and gold medalists in all sports were female skaters.
In Tokyo, Kokona Hiraki took the money in the park event three weeks before her 13th birthday. She has become the youngest Olympic medalist since 1936, according to the Olymadmen.
Momiji Nishiya from Japan took gold in Women's Street in Tokyo, a month before his 14th birthday. She has become the youngest Olympic summer gold medalist since 1960, according to the Olymadmen.
If the rules of the new age had been in place during these games, Hiraki would not have been eligible while Nishiya would have made the age of four months.

At the Paris Games, the two female gold medalists in the roller board were 14 years old – Australian Arisa in Park and Japan Coco Yoshizawa on the street.
Zheng Haohao, from China, who ranked 18th out of 22 in the women's park event in Paris five days before the age of 12, was the youngest Olympic competitor of all sports since 1992, according to the Olymadmen.
