William Levy, the actor of Telenovela who also competed on “Dancing With The Stars”, was arrested Monday in the Miami metropolitan region for accusations of disorderly intoxication and intrusion, revealed court documents.
The actor “Triunfo del Amor” was arrested after the police responded to a complaint in a restaurant in Weston, Florida, a city north of Miami, late Monday evening.
“The judgment (Levy), which was very poisoned and which caused a disturbance inside the restaurant received an intrusion warning … not to return to the company by the director of service,” said the arrest report. “(Levy) has received several verbal orders to leave the property because (he) ignored orders (police) and was finally placed in police custody after being warned.”
Levy was then arrested in the main prison of Broward County in Fort Lauderdale, where he was detained for two separate deposit accusations of $ 250.
The 44 -year -old actor was released on bond on Tuesday morning and addressed a crowd of journalists outside the place where he was detained.
He explained that he was taking drinks with parents of the baseball team of his son when a lively discussion – which he said that he did not initially participate – broke out.
“From one moment to the next, a conversation broke out between other people,” Levy told journalists. “I arrived in the middle … Well, it was I who found myself handcuffed.”
The star of “Cuidado Con El ángel” also dispelled the idea that he had pushed someone during the alleged altercation in the restaurant and said that she had never become physical.
“There are cameras (showing the truth),” said Levy.

The actor, born William Guérrez-Levy in Cuba, moved to Florida during his adolescence and became one of the most famous Telenovela stars. His long -standing first role in November took place in 2007 when he played the role of Larry Irázabal on “Acorralada”. Levy won his leading first role with “Cuidado Con El ángel” in 2008 and followed with a leading role of 90 episodes in “Soutilegio” in 2009.
He played a main role in six other telenovelas since 2010, notably “Vuelve a Mí”, broadcast on Telemundo and ended in 2024.
Levy was named people in “the sexiest man of the year” in Español in 2011 and is sometimes called Latino Brad Pitt.
