Aaron Pico can finally be called a UFC fighter. Pico ultimately contributed only once for the PFL after the merger of the two brands, avenge a defeat in 2019 against Henry Corrales with a KO in the first round of the veteran of the PFL event against Bellator in February 2024. Pico has not fought since.
In February, Pico publicly announced his intention to wait for the contractual counterpart rights of the PFL if he was unable to make his way to the UFC after the conclusion of his Bellator / PFL agreement.
A first-rate talent which was once greeted as one of the greatest prospects of MMA of all time, Pico (13-4) has been in tears for half a decade after a road from top to bottom at the start of its professional race. The native of California won nine of his last 10 fights, with his only defeat to a battle in 2022 against Jeremy Kennedy who ended prematurely between the towers due to a Pico shoulder injury.

The CEO of the UFC, Dana White, has repeatedly expressed its public interest for Pico throughout 2025.
Pico now joins a featherweight division of the UFC already populated by another longtime pillar of Bellator, the former Bellator champion with two division Patricio Pitbull, who took a similar discharge path after the acquisition by PFL of the Bellator list. Pitbull is making its promotional debut on Saturday against the former active champion of the UFC, Yair Rodriguez, on the à la carte map of the UFC 314.
Funder experienced with power in his hands and a background of wrestling decorated to start, Pico finished nine of his 13 professional victories, including seven DRIBNGB stops in current 9-1 race since 2020.
