She said Black absolutely did not deserve to die.

Last Thursday, the Sheriff of the county of Montgomery, Rob Streck, put 10 employees of prison on paid leave.

The next day, the Coroner of the county of Montgomery deemed the death of Black a homicide and said that he had died of positional asphyxiation.

Dabe said the Dayton police interviewed her in their homicide investigation.

Now she wants to share her story.

“There will be people who will see this story tonight and say, look, all of this happened to you six weeks ago, why are you now showing yourself at this stage?” John Bedell from News Center 7 asked.

“Because I was afraid at the beginning and I didn't know what to do. I was very conflict to go out or not,” said Dabe.

Dabe talks about what happened to him on March 23 in the middle of a quarter night in a Beavercreek nursing home.

“Hello everyone, how are you?” Said Dabe.

Dabe went online on social networks, spoke with her friends, as she always does during breaks.

“Just to decompress everything that is happening at work,” she said.

The end of the video recording, she gave News Center 7, which then happened.

“So it's here, I notice it and I am very uncomfortable when I notice it. I try to look around to see if it comes around the car,” said Dabe.

Dabe said that she fell from her car after a man hit her in the face.

A Englewood police report identifies the Dabe striker like Christian Black.

“And then I ran inside as quickly as possible, I didn't look back,” she said.

“We will make him secure,” said an officer on the video of the body camera.

Black was sentenced to Montgomery County prison and a few days later died in the hospital.

Dade said that Black did not deserve what happened to him.

“Absolutely not. No. No, “she said.

She thinks that what happened to her could provide an important context for the investigation into her death.

“No one told the real story of what happened to me. And I think it is important for it to be there. To find out what state of mind it was perhaps in that night, what, how he acted that night. What corresponds to the way he acted in the prison. Very angry,” said Dade.

To date, the Dayton police service has managed the investigation.

They will ask the prosecutor's office to examine it, which is procedural.

However, it may be that it can go to another county prosecutor to avoid any conflict of interest.

News Center 7 will continue to follow this story.
