Leave, Pakistan (AP)-A powerful road bomb exploded near a vehicle carrying on Friday in southwest Pakistan in southwest Pakistan, killing four soldiers and injuring three others, police announced.
The attack took place in Quetta, the capital of the province of Balutchistan, according to a local police chief, Naveed Ahmad.
No group immediately claimed the responsibility of the bombings, but suspicion is likely to fall into ethnic Baloch separatists, who frequently target the security forces and civilians in the province as well as in other parts of the country.
Interior Minister Mohin Naqvi, in a statement, denounced the attack and paid tribute to the security forces for sacrificing their lives to restore peace in the country.
The last attack occurred one day after a road bomb hit a vehicle and killed three people in Kalat, a Balutchistan district. No one claimed the responsibility of the night attack.
Balutchistan was the scene of a long -standing insurrection In Pakistan, with a range of separatist groups, including the Liberation Army of Balutchistan Hors-La-Loi, which was designated as a terrorist organization by the United States in 2019, staged attacks.
