It's day 2 of the Grand Chelem 2025 judo in Astana. A rich city with both beautiful architecture and fans passionate about judo. The arena was filled with spectators ready to see what was sure to be another exciting day of judo.

THE -73 kg The final saw the world champion in 2023 Switzerland Nils Stump against Karbek Naguchev of Water.
With a few seconds, Stump executed his signature technique, Uchi-Mata, obtaining a score, then tending the victory.
The general treasurer of the IJF, Mr. Naser Al Tamimi, was on site to award the medals.
We asked Stump what it was just to fight in Kazakhstan.
In the -63 kg The Melkia Auchecorne, France category won the victory in a hard -fought competition.
She received her medal by the IJF guest, Mr. Elliot Moshoke.
HAS -70kg Giorgia Sthergherlin, of Italy, participated in his first Grand Chelem final against China Fengying.
Stangherlin has magnificently countered the attack on his opponent, landing him in the perfect position to finish the fight with restraint.
The medals were awarded by the secretary general of the CIFP, the Honorable Sunil Sabharwal.
The -81kg saw the Japanese Olympic champion 2x Nagase Takanori even seeking the scoring against Lee Jonhwan, the Korean having a 2-1 lead to face.
But it was Lee who took gold spectacularly.
He received his medal by the member of the IJF development committee, Mr. Khaled Barakat Ibrahim.
Local fans were treated to an incredible day of judo with bronzes for Yesset Kuanov and Abylaikhan Zhubanazar.
The ippons continued to come athletes at home, with a large mixture of technically brilliant bases and catchy throws, the passionate crowd had a lot to celebrate!
