Islamabad: Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Saturday May 10. The soldiers had given “a suitable response” to India after the worst confrontations for decades between nuclear neighbors.
“Today, we have given India an appropriate response and avenged the blood of innocent life,” he said in a statement published by his office, after talking with all political parties.
Pakistan said he had launched counterattacks against India On Saturday, using medium -range Fateh missiles to target an Indian missile storage installation and air bases in Pathankot and Udhampur. The strikes occurred after Islamabad said that India had fired missiles on three air bases in the country.
The commander of the Indian Wing, Vyomika Singh, told a briefing on Saturday that there were “several high -speed missile attacks” on the air bases, but “limited damage” to equipment.
Pakistan previously accused India to target three of its bases with missiles, including one in Rawalpindi, about 10 km from the capital, Islamabad.
At least 13 civilians were killed in Pakistani cashmere in 12 hours until noon on Saturday, said the disaster authority in the region, while India and Pakistan exchanged fires after the military action of Islamabad for India in the early hours of the day.
More than 50 people were also injured in the region, authority said.
The government has appointed its new reprisals against India “Bunyan-Un-Marsoos”. Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said that the name means “a wall enriched with lead”.
The Pakistani Minister of Defense added on Saturday that no meeting of the first military and civil organization supervising the country's nuclear arsenal had been planned following its previous military operations against India.
“This thing you have talked about (nuclear option) is present, but let's not talk about it – we have to deal with it as a very distant possibility, we should not even discuss it in the immediate context,” Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said in Ary TV.
“Before arriving at this point, I think that temperatures will drop. No meeting has occurred from the National Command Authority, and such a meeting is not planned.”
Clashes, involving fighter planes, missiles, drones and artilleryhave been the worst for decades and have killed more than 60 civilians.
