At least one person was killed and eight others were injured in an Israeli air strike near the Lebanese city in southern Nabatieh, the country's ministry of health.
The Israeli army said it was aimed at Hezbollah's infrastructure, including underground weapons and tunnels.
Israel has also accused Hezbollah of regrouping and maintaining its infrastructure, violating a ceasefire arranged by the United States from November.
Hezbollah did not immediately respond to strikes, which occurred in the midst of increasing calls for the Lebanese state to disarm the militant group.
Hezbollah says he will keep his arms while Israel controls part of southern Lebanon and will continue his strikes in the country.
Israel still controls five points of summit in Lebanese territory after its invasion of the field last year.
Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam met with officials from the northeast city of Baalbek, who took an important blow from the conflict that killed 4,000 people. Salam told journalists: “The government does not have and spared no effort to accelerate the Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory”.
Hezbollah claims that it has largely disarmed in the south of the Litani river, but Israel accuses the group of having tried to regroup.
The national national public agency by Lebanon said that public institutions in the region were closed after attacks, families rushing into schools to recover their children.
Despite a ceasefire that entered into force in November, Israeli strikes continued. Israel targeted the south of Beirut three times following two attacks by rockets in southern Lebanon, which Hamas activists – who control the Gaza Strip – would have launched in March.
Under the 2006 ceasefire agreement, Israel and Hezbollah were supposed to withdraw from southern Lebanon under the Litani river, leaving it under the control of the Lebanese military soldiers.
This arrangement aimed to possibly cover the rest of the country, aimed at disarming all non -state groups, including Hezbollah, and ending the military presence of Israel.
