Lahore: Pakistan's air defense system killed a dozen Indian drones overnight, when one attacked a military target near the eastern city of Lahore, causing damage and hurtful soldiers, announced Thursday, May 8.
It follows Indian missile strikes Pakistani locations This killed 31 civilians one day earlier, including women and children, according to officials.
Meanwhile, India has evacuated thousands of people from villages near the highly militarized border of the two countries in the contested region of cashmere.

Pakistan army spokesman for Pakistan, lieutenant-general Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry, said that an Indian drone had injured four soldiers and partially damaged a military target near Lahore during the night, while the country's air defense system intercepted and killed 12 Indian drones that have entered Pakistani air space in various places. India has sent Israeli haop drones to several places, including the two largest cities in Karachi and Lahore, and their debris are collected, he said.
“Indian drones continue to be sent to Pakistan airspace … (India) will continue to pay a lot for this naked assault,” he said.
He added that in the south of the Sindh province, a civilian was killed and another injured when debris of slaughtered drones fell into a populated area.
Chaudhry said that “the operation continues and that the army neutralizes them as we are talking about”.
The incidents could not be checked independently and Indian officials did not immediately comment.
