Disney Channel's star and actress, Rondell Sheridan, relies on the generosity of her fans while recovering from a recent fight with pancreatitis.
Sheridan, best known for having played the restaurateur of Frill Grill and the Patriarch of the Baxter Victor Baxter family in “This's So Raven” and at the “Raven's Home”, revealed on Tuesday that he had been hospitalized in April for the fear of health and, therefore, “will be unemployed for a while”. In a Selfie video Caught in her hospital bed, Sheridan detailed his condition and urged his Instagram supporters to donate to a GoFundme page dedicated to the payment of his medical invoices.
The alun “Cory in the house”, 66, said that he had been hospitalized for the first time when he was traveling. He said doctors initially thought he was dealing with a gastric problem and had allowed him to go home a few days later. Shortly after his return home, Sheridan said he had to return to the hospital, where he was told that he was suffering from pancreatitis. “I was in the hospital for nine days,” he said.
“I was released and I thought I was on the road to recovery,” he continued. “But … my pancreas is ignited, and there is not much that you can do it on this subject, but wait for inflammation to drop.”
Sheridan said he was not aware that he would not be able to work during his recovery and connected the GoFundme page, saying to the fans: “I would gladly appreciate” any donation. The fundraising page, created by the actor and friend of Sheridan, Isabel Beyoso, seeks to collect $ 35,000. On Wednesday afternoon, there were more than 630 donors and more than $ 37,000, exceeding the fundraising.
Beyoso wrote in the description of Gofundme that Sheridan experienced an “extremely serious case of pancreatitis”, could not work since April 12 and would be without work for an indefinite time. She added that the actor “Cousin Skeeter” “would be especially bedridden” in the context of its recovery.
A week before her hospitalization, Sheridan found Raven-Symoné of “This's So Raven” for an April episode of the Podcast “Tea Time” which she welcomes with her wife Miranda Pearman-Maday.
Sheridan, in addition to its Disney Channel credits, appeared in television series including “minor adjustments”, “The Jamie Foxx Show” and “A Different World”.
