The Kings of Sacramento hire the former Chicago Bulls BJ Armstrong goalkeeper as deputy director general, ESPN Charania Chams Reports.
Armstrong played 11 years in the NBA as a leader, including six with the Bulls. He played in the rear area alongside Michael Jordan during the Chicago race at his first three NBA titles from 1991 to 1993.

Since his retirement as a player, Armstrong has worked in the Bulls front office and then as a player. Now he will come back to the front office to help the Kings build their list. Armstrong will work alongside the Director General of Kings Scott Perry.
Armstrong, 57, was an eminent player in the emblematic Bulls teams who saw Jordan secure the first three of his six NBA championships. He played mainly as a safeguard during the first two seasons of the Chicago championship. He replaced John Paxson as a full-time leaving in the rear area alongside Jordan for the 1992-93 Chicago Championship campaign.
Armstrong also played for the Warriors, Hornets and Magic before returning to Chicago to play his last NBA season in 1999-00.
After his retirement, Armstrong worked as a special assistant to the vice-president of Jerry Krause basketball operations before moving on to an agent career. Since 2006, he has worked for Waserman Media Group, whose list of customers included the former MVP Bulls Derrick Rose and the USWNT star Alex Morgan.

Armstrong joins the Kings before the draft and the free agency of the NBA 2025 and on the heels of a large reshuffle of the list. In February, The Kings exchanged the leader of the stars of'aron Fox to the Spurs in an agreement that returned the wing of the Zach Lavine stars.
The Kings will seek to return to the playoffs in 2026 after missing the playoffs for consecutive seasons after a game defeat against the Dallas Mavericks.
