President Trump knows how to launch a curve – and its last that most people will not see coming because it plans to reopen the notorious of Alcatraz prison.
In fact, the commander -in -chief said on Truth Social … He orders prisons at the Federal Office to reopen not only Alcatraz, but also to rebuild the prison in order to “accommodate the most unforgiving and violent offenders in America” and “serve as a symbol of law, order and justice”.
In his social post of truth on Sunday evening, Trump continues: “We will no longer be held hostage to criminals, thugs and judges who are afraid of doing their job and allowing us to illegally withdraw criminals, who have entered our country.”
Earlier on Sunday, Trump told the White House journalists that the reopening of the penitentiary was “only an idea” because the “radicalized judges” want to give regular procedure to each illegal immigrant in the country, which would embustle the legal system with “millions of trials”. Trump said that even if Alcatraz is a “sad symbol”, he still represents law and order and has a whole story.
That this is the case. Alcatraz is an island located in the waters off San Francisco, California, and it was led by the Ministry of Justice as a federal prison from 1934 to 1963, when it closed its doors. Some of the most infamous criminals in American history have been incarcerated there, in particular Capone,, Robert “The Birdman” Stroud And George “Machine Gun” Kelly.
Alcatraz was closed after almost 30 years because, according to the BOP, it was too expensive to continue working with around 3 to 5 million dollars necessary for catering and maintenance work to maintain the prison during the time. The BOP also had to take into account daily operating costs, which makes Alcatraz three times more to manage as other federal detention establishments.
Alcatraz was transformed into a tourist destination controlled by the National Park Service, with around 1.2 million visitors each year.
