Diddy Trial is here, choosing a jury will be a major challenge

Diddy will finally be confronted a jury of his peers who will determine his fate for the rest of his life … but find the right jury – for each side – will be a Herculean task.

Defense will have a much more difficult period because there is no impartial jury. Good luck to find a potential juror in New York – or elsewhere in this country, moreover – which has not trained in this case.

Since the public point of view is Diddy is guilty, prosecutors have a great advantage. As for defense, the way of asking questions about the bias is not just asking if a potential juror can have an open mind. The way to do it … They ask if the potential jurors have already had an opinion that was important for them but which have been able to change their minds, and they must be specific.

This point has become a great subject of discussion between Harvey And Mark Geragos on the most recent “2 angry men” podcast.
