Holders as large as eggs have been reported in several areas, damaging buildings and vehicles.
The worst time hit the regions of Małopolska, Podkarpackie, Silesia and Lublin, where residents attended sudden showers and hailstorms. In Rozprza, near Piotrków, the power lines have been damaged, leaving parts of the district without electricity.
In Magdalenka, several buildings have been damaged, with broken windows and roofs torn from at least six houses. The firefighters worked late at night to deal with the consequences.
