A 44 -year -old man who was killed by police after the state of the state of Delaware declared that he had charged with a knife had been identified as a painter from Gregory.
Painter, from Milford, was fatally injured on May 1 when the soldiers responded to Route 9 (Lewes-Georgetown Highway) near Harbeson Road after receiving several calls at 911 just before 4 p.m. on a possible altered driver, police announced.

The appellants told the distributors that a red Ford F-150 was driving slowly, climbing in opposite tracks and driving on the shoulder.
Police found the truck, operated by Painter, on CoolSpring Road near Fisher Road. Soldiers tried to arrest him, but the police said that he continued to continue and that the police were pursuing.
Painter finally stopped in an alley in West Springside Drive's block 28000, said the police. He then got out of the truck with a knife and run in a neighboring house.
The painter did not live at home, who, according to the police, was occupied at the time.

The soldiers shot their weapons, hitting and killing a painter.
The soldiers remain on administrative leave by Department policy while the State Police and the Department of Justice in the Delaware investigate the shooting.
Although it is the third person to have been killed by delaware police so far this year, it is the first person to have died.
