A missile from Yemen struck an area in the perimeter of Tel Aviv airport. According to Israeli sources, the attack was launched by Houthi rebels and left four people slightly injured.
Israeli defense forces (FDI) confirmed the attack and said they were unable to intercept the ballistic missile that hit the area of Ben Gurion airport.
The army said it had made several attempts to intercept the missile launched from Yemen.
The Israeli Minister of Defense Israel Katz proceeded to the strike: “Whoever hurts us, we will harm them.”
Last week, the Houthis rebels from Yemen pulled a missile in northern Israel.
The Houthi rebels shoot Israel, in solidarity with the Palestinians, since the war with Gaza broke out on October 7, 2023. The missiles were mainly intercepted, although some have penetrated the anti -missile defense systems of Israel, causing damage.
Iran denies arming rebels, although weapons manufactured by Tehran were found on the battlefield and in sea expeditions heading to Yemen for the Houthi Shiites rebels despite a United Nations embargo.
The United States is currently targeting Houthis due to the group's attacks against expedition to the Red Sea, a crucial global trade route and Israel.
Last week, a American Air Stike Hit a prison holding African migrants in Yemen, killing at least 68 people and injuring 47 others.
