Kuala Lumpur: Malaysian Prime Minister said on Sunday May 4. He was convinced that a Dispute between the Petronas energy companyBelonging to the federal government, and Petros, belonging to the state of Sarawak, will be resolved by discussions with the first Sarawak.
The long -standing dispute of the two companies concerning gas distribution rights increased last week, with Petronas claiming on Friday that his subsidiary of Petronas Carigali had received opinions from the government of the state of the state of Sarawak on its activities.
Petronas did not give any other details, but the local media said that the authorities of Sarawak told the crude oil terminal of the company that he lacked an appropriate operating license.
Sarawak gave Petronas Carigali 21 days to obtain the required license or cope with financial sanctions under the Local States Act, according to reports.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said he spoke to the Prime Minister of the State of Sarawak, Abang Johari OpenG, concerning the questions of Petronas and Petros, on the basis of principles which were previously agreed.
“When the Prime Minister returns from his official visit to London, we will immediately make additional discussions to finalize it.
“I am very convinced that this problem will be resolved in a cautious way by standing on the path of a healthy and significant speech,” he said on his Facebook page.
