Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone sailed to win the hedges of the 400m in 52.07 seconds, the best time to ever take place before June, during the Grand Chelem Miami track puts on Saturday.
“I still feel 14 progress (between hedges),” she said during the dissemination. “Obviously, there are things to clean, but I am satisfied with the place where my physical form is. For a second race of the year, I am happy.”

McLaughlin-Levrone won 12 consecutive finals of 400m hurdles dating from his last defeat at the 2019 world championships, breaking the world record six times during this period to bring him from 52.16 to 50.37.
McLaughlin-Levrone will direct the 400m set on Sunday (3 p.m. he, Peacock) with a chance to break the American record of Sanya Richards-Ross of 2006.

Also on Saturday, the Olympic gold medalist Gabby Thomas won the 200m in 21.95, but was preceded for the title of Grand Slam sprints by Melissa Jefferson-Wooden. Jefferson-Wooden, 100m Olympic bronze medalist, won the 100m on Friday, then ranked third in Saturday in 22.15, a personal record.

Kenny Bednarek, the 200m Olympic silver medalist, won the male 100m on Saturday in 9.79 seconds. The 2.4 -meter rear wind per second was slightly higher than the limit of 2.0 for recording purposes. Bednarek became the American 12th to break 9.80 in the 100m when including all wind conditions.
The American Jacory Patterson won the 400m in a better 43.98 staff, while the finalist Jereem Richards of Trinidad and Tobago won the title of Slam in the long sprints during the combination of his 200m victory on Friday.
Steven Gardiner of the Bahamas, the Olympic gold medalist from Tokyo 400m, got away from lame halfway from the race and dropped off on the track.
