Kentucky Derby generally has tastes to bend their fashion muscles … And this year it was a chic plastic blanket – because everyone needed ponchos to cover their sets.
The people who flow in Churchill Downs in Louisville had to prepare the elements … by throwing plastic on their beautiful clothes with a cloudy sky suspended above them.
Several ladies of their Sunday at best seemed to laugh … even if their costumes had a slightly opaque screen cast on it.
The men in derby costumes – some an eclectic mixture of colors – seemed to get off from Splash Mountain on the evening of the evening … I hope these Fedoras will keep their heads dry!
Some even went to Full Bubble Boy with their deployment of rain equipment … with this woman who is not randomly arranged the plumes of her wet hat.
The main event starts at 3:57 pm … and, at present, the derby should continue – although bettors can change the chances that the weather.
