The strikes have damaged high -rise buildings, private houses, a school, a supermarket and cars, according to the state emergency service, which evacuated more than 200 residents.
Regional governor Oleh Kiper said on social networks that several fires broke out throughout the city after the strike.
Attacks have also been reported to Kharkiv and Sumy, where a strike caused a fire but no injuries.
The climbing comes as Ukraine and the United States have signed an agreement to share the future profits of Ukrainian and rare land minerals.
