The NBA awarded the Prix de l'Esprit Sportif 2024-25 to the veteran goalkeeper Jrue Holiday, the League announced on Thursday.
The Guard des Celtics de Boston was selected for the price in a pool of players named from the 30 NBA teams. Holiday won the honor for the second time in his career, after winning in 2021 while the Milwaukee Bucks.
The price, named the Joe Dumars trophy after the legendary Strait Pistons goalkeeper, is given to the player who displays the sporting spirit on the field. Dumars was the first prize recipient in 1995.

Holiday is now becoming the fifth person to win the sporting spirit award more than once. Minnesota Timberwolves goalkeeper Mike Conley has the record, having won the Honor four times in 10 years, mainly in 2023.
Holiday will add the prize to her 16 -year -old decorated career, which includes two NBA championships, two head nods and three first mentions of the fully defensive team.
The guardian of the veterans rebounded between the teams throughout his career, but had a significant impact to all. Since he was exchanged to the Celtics in 2023, Holiday has been a coherent starter for Boston and helped the team in a championship in 2024.
