To the publisher: At the time when my 30 -year -old son was a teenager, he and I went to Magic Mountain for a day of roller coaster. While we were preparing to go for a ride, the line was maintained and on the other side of the platform, a very shy James Gandolfini, as well as two young boys, were sitting on the sub-tu (first (first (“James Gandolfini (and Tony Soprano) would have hated this biography”, “ April 28). We were then seated in front, a few rows in front of him. It was a wild ride and I could hear Gandolfinni behind us laughing and shouting like a little child. We saw him later a few times in the park just an unpretentious father, dressed in daddy's clothes and a crumpled sailor's hat. I really enjoyed it as an actor, but the image I have of this day is the one I will always remember.
