“If (someone) had an injured ankle, I would attack this ankle every time,” said Brooks. “So, whatever they say during the broadcast, they can continue to say it.”
Brooks did not deny the strategy. As it is not technically a penalty, Brooks should not face any repercussions for his comments. Given the light of the problem after the loss of the Warriors in match 5, however, it is possible that civil servants start to call faults if they believe that the sweeping becomes obvious.
Although Curry did not have an excellent shooting evening in match 5, the thumb injury did not prevent him from writing strong figures throughout the series. Curry collected an average of 26 points and six assists in the first four games against the Rockets.
