Atlanta Hawks goalkeeper Dyson Daniels was appointed the most improved player in the 2025 NBA on Wednesday, winning the prize against the Strait Pistons Cade Cunningham and the Clippers Big Ivica Zubac.
Daniels fled with the price. He obtained 44 votes in first place and 332 points in total, almost double what Zubac won for his second place. Cunningham finished third with 122 points.

Daniels arrived in Atlanta last season after two years with the New Orleans Pélicans and saw his figures hovering with the Hawks. He finished his first campaign with averaged 14.1 career points of 14.1, 5.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists and three interceptions at the top of the League per match.
Its shooting also increased from 43.5% in its first two seasons to 49.3% this year. The performance of Daniels earned him a starting place in the rotation, which he did not obtain in two years with the Pélicans.
Cunningham raised an average of 26.1 points and 9.1 assists this season with the pistons, which he helped lead to the playoffs for the first time since 2019. Zubac collected on average 16.8 points and a career summit of 12.6 rebounds this season with the Clippers.

Like most of the NBA honors, the price of the most improved players is voted by a panel of 100 writers and broadcasters who cover the league and have been votté shortly after the end of the regular season. The other results announced before Daniels' victory include: Win the San Antonio castle Recruit of the year, Evan Mobley de Cleveland Defensive player of the year, Jalen Brunson from New York Clutch player of the year and Payton Pritchard of Boston Winner Sixth man of the year.
The Hawks went 40-42 in the regular season and obtained the ninth seeded before losing the two game games against Orlando and Miami.
