The construction company had previous problems
The tower was a spouse between Italian -Thai development – a longtime Thai construction company – and China Railway n ° 10, a subsidiary of China State Railway Chinese, a group behind many large -scale infrastructure projects in China and abroad.
The organizational structure of China Railway No. 10 had three Thai nationals holding a majority of the company's shares while a Chinese executive held the remaining 49%.

The law enforcement officials arrested the three Thai nationals and the Chinese man, whom they named Zhang Chuangling. He was charged with suspicion of using only Thai nationals as a name shareholders.
Zhang is currently on bail, but not the other three, according to local media.
An anti-corruption Thai guard dog who had previously monitored the collapsed construction project said he had observed several problems.

The government has set up an investigation committee one week after the incident to investigate what caused the building collapsed.
