US President Donald Trump marked the first 100 days of his second administration by attacking the judges who, according to him, stand on his way.
During a 90 -minute speech delivered in the county of Macomb of Michigan, the 78 -year -old man, whose approval ratings have decreased considerably in recent weeks, have focused on immigration.
The president, who promised his supporters that his administration had “just started”, showed a video of expenses expelled from the United States to a notorious prison in Salvador, which attracted the roars of the crowd approval.
Trump accused the courts of having given his administration “a difficult period”, after some judges questioned the legality of his use of the law on extraterrestrial enemies of 1798 to expel the alleged members of Venezuelan gangs.
“We cannot allow a handful of communist and radical judges to obstruct the application of our laws and assume the duties that belong only to the President of the United States,” said Trump.
“Nothing will stop me in the mission of keeping America again safe,” he added.
The celebration of Trump of his first 100 days in chief also included boastful of the reduction of federal agencies by his administration. While criticisms say that the so-called Ministry of Government Effectiveness (DOGE), led by billionaire Elon Musk, illegally reduced federal and alleged roles and agencies sought to launch his work as beneficial for the country.
“After a life of non -elected bureaucrats, stealing your pay checks, attacking your values and trampling on your freedoms, we stop their handling, ending their power trip and say thousands of bureaucrats of the deep and useless deep state,” said Trump.
Despite Trump's pretension to have had “the 100 most successful days of any administration in the history of our country”, the polls suggest that around 4 in 10 in 10 Americans approve how he manages the presidency.
The American public also has concerns about Trump's immigration policies, with about half of the Americans saying that he had “gone too far” on deportations.
His notes on the economy and trade have also taken a hit since his pricing ads of the “Liberation Day” had the stock markets drop.
Protesters outside the place where Trump was talking about signs on Tuesday, including “100 days of lies” and “Trump destroys our democracy”.
Meanwhile, Ken Martin, president of the National Democratic Committee, said: “In 100 days, Donald Trump reached the unthinkable: he brought America to the edge of the implosion.
“On the world stage, he made us a joke. On the inner front, he made us weak. All his promises are empty – and the American people knows.”
