President TrumpI do what he is known for – to dismiss people … But this time, it is a group of members of the board of directors at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum which was appointed by Joe Biden.
Kamala Harris' husband, Doug Emhoffwas among the people dismissed by Trump.
In a press release, the former second gentleman tells TMZ … “Today, I was informed of my withdrawal from the United States Holocaust Memorial Council. The appointments of the Biden Holocaust Museum were announced in January … and the museum, which opened its doors to Washington, DC in 1993, said that the presidential appointments are supposed to serve as a 5 -year term.
Trump also fired Anthony Bernal,, Ron Klain,, Tom Perez And Susan Rice … according to the New York Times. The four people have close links with Biden.
The reshuffle of the Holocaust museum comes only a few days after the day of the Holocaust memory in the United States on April 21.
A spokesperson for the museum tells TMZ … “At the moment of the distortion and denial of high anti-Semitism and the holocaust, the museum is satisfied that our visit is robust and that the demand for education of the holocaust increases. We are impatient to continue to advance our vital mission while we work with the Trump administration.”
