The United Nations Security Council met on Tuesday to discuss the situation in the Middle East. The meeting comes after Israel moved to intensify its operations through the Gaza Strip after the ventilation of a fragile truce on March 18.
More than 2,200 Palestinians have been killed since Israel took over the fighting and some 5,800 others were injured. The Band Israel's blockade also had disastrous implications for the population of 2.1 million Gaza, contributing more to an already disastrous humanitarian crisis.

He also warned of the paralyzing humanitarian conditions in which the Gazans were forced to participate in the Israeli blockage of the enclave continues to stifle the population with crucial aid, medicine and basic necessities.

The Palestine ambassador to the United Nations Riyad Mansour, was also present in Reunion. Mansour called Netanyahu “delusional” after the Israeli Prime Minister recently said that a two -state solution means “destruction of Israel”.

Israeli operations in Gaza have killed at least 51 Palestinians in the last 24 hours and injured 113 others, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health managed by Hamas.
The attacks have targeted several locations, from Jabaliya to the north to the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
The war began when Hamas activists attacked southern Israel on October 7, 2023, killing about 1,200 people, most civilians. Hamas has taken 251 people in hostages and currently has 59, 24 of whom are considered alive.
