A turn of publications on social networks has surfaced on X, Tiktok and Telegram claiming that the American administration prohibits Germany from providing Ukraine with long -range Taurus missiles, because they contain American critical materials.
Eurovenife has investigated these complaints, but has not found any evidence to date to corroborate them.
The Taurus KEPD-350 missile is a long-range cruise missile more sophisticated than those already provided to Ukraine by the United States, France and the United Kingdom.
It can reach targets of up to 500 km – more than double in the Cruise missiles Ukraine missiles is currently – and could allow Kyiv to hit targets deep in Russian territory.

Eurovenife contacted the German Federal Department of Defense asking for clarity on complaints, and a spokesman said that “we are not starting speculation”.

Donald Trump said in the past that he “disagrees with very vehement” with the use of missiles to hit targets deep in Russian territory.
However, its administration recently resumed the delivery of military aid to Ukraine, which includes long -range Atacms missiles.
