Sheder Sanders Finally found a house in the NFL.
After a process of winding evaluation which threw him as one of the greatest mysteries of the NFL recovery – and according to a huge slide which saw him bypass by several franchises as a QB – the quarter -back of Colorado Buffaloes was chosen in the fifth round on Saturday by the Browns of Cleveland. Taken the n ° 144 in total, the choice comes following a draft slide which even amazed some of its most critical talent assessors in the league.

“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity throughout everything,” Sanders told journalists after being drafted. “I never focus on a negative or don't even think of the negative because the positive occurred so quickly.”
Sanders also answered questions about how he will integrate with the Browns and will approach the locker room.
“I have the impression that the first thing to do is to show respect for veterinarians. I prepare to work and show the coaches, to make them understand that I am ready to work, I really understand the real me,” he said. “I am really grateful for people to see the real me and not to be able to see things that could be true or not.”
Sanders and those present on his surveillance site broke out when his name was called, then he jumped in a swimming pool with his socks to celebrate:
“We live by our board of directors,” said the director general of the Browns, Andrew Berry, to the media after the choice. “We had the impression of being a good solid perspective in the most important position. We thought it was at a point where it was probably poorly evaluated compared to the project. Really, the cost of acquisition was quite light and it is a guy who, in our opinion, can overcome his stock of recovery. I would not say that it is more than that.

“Obviously, Shemer has somehow grew up under the spotlight, but our expectation is to come here and work and compete. Nothing has been promised, nothing will be given, so I can hesitate to characterize it as a blockbuster. It is not necessarily that we have thought of the transaction, but we are excited.”
Berry also called Sanders “very precise” and capable of “playing well from the pocket”.
He also comes to the wake of a series of last-minute controversies earlier this week, after NFL Network cited several anonymous league sources that hammered Sanders with strong criticism on his play and pre-traf interviews. Although criticisms were not the first in Sanders in this process, the nature of certain comments – notably by calling it “titled” and “not very good” as a player – attracted a series of negative reactions inside and outside the circles of the League.
It is unlikely that the report finally had an impact on the Sanders draft stock, but a former managing director who spotted Sanders in the sketches of the NFL 2023 and 2024 pointed out on Saturday that his “feeling personal” slide.
