Less than a week later Coachelor Concluded, the Stagecoach Country Music Festival attracted another crowd in the tens of thousands of people to the Empire Polo club now grassless in Indio. The great energy of the Saturday's mega-church continued with Creed's late evening set in Palomino's tent, where singer Scott Stapp struck an assortment of messianic pose while his group comrades canceling the gospel-grunge riffs of “One Last Breath” and “Superior”. For the latter, Creed released the star from Pop -Soul Tori Kelly – just one of the many millennials and zoomers who kept Creed in business a quarter of a century after the group's era.

Playing Stagecoach as part of a tour behind “Passage du Desir” of last year (which he published under the Alter Ego Johnny Blue Skies), Sturgill Simpson and his tight group of four pieces offered an hour of Boogie-Rock jams which mentioned the Allman brothers supported by Booker T. & The Mg's. Speaking of blankets: in addition to the soul clip of the early 1960s of William Bell, “You don't miss your water”, Simpson played a desire interpretation of, uh, “party all the time” by Eddie Murphy.
