Jalen Brunson left the NBA qualifiers on Sunday between the New York Knicks and the Pistons de Detroit with a leg injury at the end of the second half, but finally returned.
With about three minutes to play in the third quarter, Brunson got tangled with Dennis Schroder de Detroit while trying to bring the Upcourt ball. The ball was stolen by Schroder, who made his way to Cade Cunningham for a dunk, who extended the advance of the pistons at 65-61.
Brunson had to be helped to get up and had a hard time putting weight on his right leg while he went to the locker room.
However, the leader of the Knicks returned to the bench during the fourth quarter and did not seem to have a problem. He got into the match for two minutes and quickly took two shots, making one.
