On April 22, the Board of Sheriff of the County of San Joaquin and the surrounding agencies worked together to intercept a semi-camon loaded with 189 kilos of cocaine in Tracy. The deputies said that the truck was followed by the Mexican border and led the agents to a residence on Koster Road.

A suspect was detained without incident, according to SJCSO. Another suspect fled and barricaded himself in the attic, however, he was arrested by the Swat team with the help of a K9.
“This operation is a powerful reminder of what is possible when agencies work together,” said SJCSO. “Dangerous drugs off the streets, traffickers behind bars and our communities have become safer.”
